Keeping on its work within the Trade Facilitation and Customs as one of the AAg Priorities for Action and given its previous deliverables on the draft Customs Code of Ukraine (CCU), the Project core team met with Mr V.KHOMUTYNNIK, Chairman of the VRU Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy, and Mr Igor TYMOFIEV, Deputy Head of the Customs Service of Ukraine, and also Mr Leonid KOZACHENKO, the Head of the Council of Entrepreneurs under the CMU.

Having considered the state of play on elaborating the CCU, the counterparts marked the tracks of further collaboration for bringing the national customs legislation in line with the EU law and exchanging the information between the customs agencies of the parties, underpinned by the technical and advisory assistance to Ukraine.
