UEPLAC organised a training for the officials of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine |
A four day training was organised for the benefit of officials of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, working both centrally and regionally, on the implementation of the 1965 and 1970 Den Haag Conventions on the service of documents and the taking of evidence in civil and commercial cases. The training was carried out in two identical modules of two days each for 42 participants, who came to Kiev from all the Regional Departments of Justice (oblasts) as well as from the MoJ central administration, Department for International Private Law and International Cooperation. Training took place on 11-14 December, and it was delivered by Mr Christophe Bernasconi and Mr Peter Beaton, UEPLAC Expert, together with the support of Mr Edoardo Spacca, UEPLAC Legal Adviser on Justice, Freedom and Security and was facilitated by Ms Kateryna Shevchenko Director, Department for International Private Law and International Cooperation, Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, and Ms Lyudmyla Ruda, Deputy Director.
